booklet we will look at the ear and how we
hear/ the causes and treatments of hearing
loss; then we focus on the cochlear implant
system, how it works/ who can benefit from
it and the general steps involved in obtaining
an implant if, indeed, it is the appropriate
treatment for you or your family member.If
